Dust motes drifted with suicidal placidity, illumintaed by sickly rays of the fading sun that were streaming in through the hundreds of broken windows. Siroc nimbly pulled himself up to the ledge of one of these and after a moment's hesitation slowly lowered himself down through the window frame and let go, falling with no audible thump onto the mossy ground below.
